The company that sells clothes and equipment for water sports has put on an interesting task.
I woke up after a long sleep. It was hard for me to move my body, as a headache is terrible, it was an hour after midnight. Usually, all my nights and dreams pass easily, with pleasant dreams. But this time is an exception.
Getting up from the bed, I tried to wake up a little, as previous attempts to fall asleep were vain. I went to the kitchen, turn on teapot to make a green tea with mint - it calms. In any situation I try to drink it, especially doctors say antioxidants have a positive effect on my body.
The road was long in the dark, due to a headache, for some reason, it was bad for me. However, as soon as I switched on the light, everything was much more formed. After a cup of tea in a tranquil atmosphere, I felt better. However, I still did not dare go to bed - I sat almost 30 minutes, and still felt the effects of pain in my temples.
I decided to turn on the computer. Scrolled the latest news. Social networks - as usual, nothing interesting, I rummaged for self-education. Opened several articles on trends in web design in 2018, viewed works on Behance and dribbble. After it, my desire for art was burning and I want to make something fresh.
In our company, we use combination boards Trello and Jira for different projects. Having opened the Trello, I did not see any new assignments for myself, but when I looked into the Atlassian project I found something new, probably during evening either night project manager has received something from clients.
It was a small but interesting design task for the watersport equipment project. My 24-inch display was a great illumination of the dark room, but I still did not dare work only with this lighting and switch on my desk lamp. To the word, it is made in the style of high-tech, and on my table a minimum of things - a monitor, a mouse, a lamp and a wireless keyboard.
Having made brightness on a minimum on my newest Samsung monitor, I set to work. Launched Photoshop, uploaded the template with the finished markup for bootstrap and began to implement the ideas. Element by element, I moved to the next section - sales, featured products and so on. In parallel, leafing through some of the work, and looking for icons on popular resources.
After 3 hours, the first version of the mockup with responsive design was ready. With minor improvements in the office, our project manager sent it to the client. I was in high expectation from the feedback because I started to work in an atypical manner. A little over a day later, Kate gave me the right to do the rest of the pages, and a short list of edits is about 7, as I remember. The edits were mostly to change the text, the color of the element and add reviews. I was delighted that the client liked the work. Of course, I worked before at night - but this work was a completely new story.
A short interview was given by our designer, so to speak the experience of the past. As you can see, each project has its own, unique story behind it.
A few weeks later we received an order to develop e-commerce mockups of the sports nutrition website, which received a positive response from the client
They wanted to update the website and make it more functional. We understood that the e-commerce project should be convenient, efficient and have a high conversion. Such websites bring new customers online. We took into account in the design all wishes and suggested fresh mockups of the project. We placed the phone number and search field at the top of the homepage. It will allow getting more orders. Also, we decided to place hot offers on the homepage. The store has a good reputation, so to increase the loyalty of users we added a section with reviews. The work was done at a high level.
The mockups were prepared in two sizes (desktop and mobile). In the process of work, we used flat design and corporate colors. The customer remained happy with the quality of the work.
We'll be in touch soon.
